Presley and I went to Crafty Things for the first time since we've been on island. I can honestly say the experience was EPIC. I was in heaven! Anyways I bought Presley this little toy where you put the small plastic pieces on a heart and then melt it with an iron. Here is a picture so you can imagine what happens next:
We were putting them on the heart and she was playing in the bucket. I got up to run to the pantry to get a HoHo of all things, and in the 3 minutes I was away Presley starts screaming. I run back into the living room and she is holding her nose. Yes, you have already guessed it my little monster stuck a green one right up her left nostril. She is crying and I'm afraid it's going to get sucked back in her canal. I'm trying to calm her down and I run her to the bathroom, I grab a flashlight and I'm digging through my make-up bag looking for the tweezers. I have her tilt her head back and yes there it is...but I can barely see it. Inside I'm freaking out but I'm trying to be calm for her. I grabbed my short tweezers and I can barely hold onto them and stick them up her nose. I tell her to start blowing I want her to blow really really hard out of her nose. I leave her sitting on the sink and run back into my room at this point i'm ready to start getting dressed to take her to the ER. While i'm in my room looking for the other pair of tweezers I hear some giggling coming from the bathroom. I happen to walk back in there and she is holding the green booger-y piece in her hand laughing..."that was funny, right mommy" well yes I cant stop laughing but then we have to have the DO NOT STICK ANYTHING UP YOUR NOSE speech! My crazy child...thank goodness she didn't get it stuck really far up there, I don't know if my heart could have handled it!
