Funny Story

Today, Presley was helping me clean out her hamster cage. I need her help because the hamster is NOT NICE at all! The last time Presley tried to pet it, she (The Hamster) did a diving leap towards her little fingers and wouldn't let go. It's been pretty traumatic for us ever since then. I have tried to give her away, but every time I find a good candidate I start to feel guilty because I know just how crazy this little monster really is and I think we are going to be death do us part kind of friends ughhh!!

Well  today I HAD to clean out the cage I mean it was definitely necessary!! Every time I have to get her out it has to be fast movements thus I need Presley's help. I basically just need her help to hold the ball so I can "toss" Hampsie (the hamster from hell) right on in there. I get the beast into her ball and about mid way through the cage cleaning I hear Presley screaming in the living room that Hampsie has gotten out of the ball. Suddenly, I see Hampsie scurry across the floor but I can't find that dang ball. I grab a dish rag from the drawer and try to throw it over her. I swear I must have grabbed the largest rag we have because I couldn't find Hampsie underneath it anywhere. I just bundle it all up and run towards the cage. About half way there Hampsie peeks her devilish little head out and I start to freak and struggle with the towel. In the process Hampsie falls into the trash! What a nightmare, a little back story to this day:

I previously did a major overhaul on our fish tanks so there is so much tank scum in the trash it is disgusting!!

Back to the story! I am digging through the trash looking for Hampsie and I finally find her, quickly grab her out and put her back in the towel. I do my best to wipe her off and get her back in her clean cage. Hopefully little Hampsie has learned her lesson and will straighten up because I will not tolerate a crazy hamster for too much longer!! What fun is it to have her if you can't play with her?!?! Anyways thankful everything ended up just fine and not traumatically because I'm not sure either of us could handle it:)))

This is what Hampsie reminds me of^^^lol
